AeroFTP 3.0.1 is an open-source, multi-protocol file manager and FTP client that unifies access to sixteen remote-storage standards—ranging from classic FTP, FTPS, SFTP and WebDAV to cloud endpoints such as Amazon S3, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, MEGA, Box, pCloud, Azure Blob, 4shared, Filen, Zoho WorkDrive and encrypted Cryptomator vaults—within a single desktop interface. Built on the lightweight Tauri 2 stack that couples a Rust core with React 18 and TypeScript, the program targets power users who need secure, batch-oriented transfers, bidirectional real-time folder synchronisation and integrated development tools without the overhead of separate applications. A built-in AI assistant exposes forty-five utilities through fifteen selectable large-language-model providers, offering context-aware help for scripting, file conversion and remote-server diagnostics, while an onboard AES-256-GCM-SIV vault protected by Argon2id key derivation provides military-grade encryption for sensitive data stored locally or in the cloud. Additional modules include a tabbed SSH terminal, syntax-aware code editor and media player with audio visualisers, all presented through one of four themes and forty-seven localisations. Since its first public build, the project has released sixteen incremental versions, progressively adding protocol handlers, performance optimisations and security patches that keep the codebase aligned with evolving cloud APIs and cryptography best practices.
